Mobile phone is a very useful and important device. It helps us in various ways. It entertains and informs us. All we need to do is to use this device smartly and wisely. We should remember that it is mainly a device with purpose of communication, but that does not mean that we keep on wasting hours on chatting or through messaging. We should also remember that spending too much time on mobile phones is dangerous as mobile phones emit harmful radiations leading to various diseases.

In this era of smart phones ,mobile is necessary part of our life. Without mobile we can't live for a second too.It made our life easier than before as we are doing everything through mobile.
It has some disadvantages also.Using frequently may causes some diseases too.

One more thing ,through this mobile we can able to connect our close persons who are staying far.But we are maintaining a big distance who are staying with us. Sad But True.

A mobile phone is a useful tool to support everyday life. However, it has become a crutch for some people. Separated from social media for just a few minutes and certain people get withdrawal symptoms. Try not using your mobile for a day. You will survive.

It's not a friend because it's an inanimate object. It's a useful aid to our lives but we can continue living without them. - David 16 months ago

Defie necessary? music, social media, gossip, etc? - Dr. David E. 16 months ago

It is interesting we still refer to this as a "mobile phone" considering the activity we probably perform least on it is making phone calls. More appropriate would just be mobile device.

Steve Jobs got it right when he said at the first iPhone introduction: "Well, today, we’re introducing three revolutionary products of this class. The first one: is a widescreen iPod with touch controls.
The second: is a revolutionary mobile phone. And the third is a breakthrough Internet communications device. [...] An iPod, a phone, and an Internet communicator. An iPod, a phone … Are you getting it? These are not three separate devices, this is one device, and we are calling it iPhone."

Only thing you could argue with is why call it iPHONE then... my guess is for mass recognition.
