There are a lot of advantages, such as, bridging the distant gap between doctors and patients, saving time and travel costs which could provide satisfaction to users at both ends. Also, saving the environment by reducing emissions from vehicles.
The disadvantages could be the availability and security of the communication channel (e.g. internet). The use of this technology could strips the humanistic quality from medicine and could cause culture misunderstanding between the doctor and patients.
