Blue Monday was a viral marketing ads created by a travel agency to push people to buy travels. There was no scientific theory behind this. However the third Monday of January is now officially known as the gloomiest day of the year. Even police confirms that they are expecting more crime. Weather conditions, finance situation after the Christmas holidays, failing new year resolutions are the main issues.
Again, everything started with a fake news with no scientific study behind but at the end someone started to believe about it. Something real is somehow behind this.
Which is your idea about this? I am aware this was just a marketing campaign but really well done and viral.
