With the life sciences industry evolving to shift focus to patients and patient-centricity, I believe blockchain would be useful for various reasons.. for example, to set up vaccine registries or transactional patient histories during clinical trial enrollment. Furthermore, blockchain could be used to configure and share blood test information which would help prevent obtaining additional unnecessary blood work...The blockchain could also be integrated and used along with the patient’s current EHR record to enable improved data integrity and system interoperability, ensuring that meaning patient data is shared across organizations and indivoduals without compromising the security of stored information.

About the word "could"

Is meaningless. It is binary.
So, what cold be true - may equally could not be true.

+ plus - = O

The slow BLOCKCHAIN!

Perhaps OK for financial and other banking and CC  transactions.
But, far too slow for PHI transactions.
