One of the brand name of this successful ingredient is Praventinf, an ingredient derived from whey predominant in lactoferrin. Clinical study with oral supplementation with lactoferrin proven to decrease in skin blemishes. Use of vitamin/mineral supplement in beauty care is quite common in current days. They function as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents and are known to act as antiaging and oral uptake of them of them helps in the attenuation of skin aging and cancer development. The coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)'. Coenzyme Q10(CoQ10)' are well known as very strong energizing and antioxidative agents. CoQ10 is considered to be an effective nutritional supplement that ameliorates skin aging, especially wrinkles. Mechanisms of the antiaging effects in skin are (1) promotion of fibroblast proliferation, (2) induction of increased production of basement membrane constituents, and (3) inhibition of cell damage and pigment-generating auto-oxidation through its antioxidative ability. Oral supplementation of CoQ10 is expected to be effective for “beauty from within,” through its antioxidant and energizing effects in skin. There are plenty of supplements available in the OTC segment.
