Human disphoria is indeed on the rise because of the growing disequilibrium in the architecture of modern societies, people and the environment.

For a system, whether natural or man-made, to be in harmony; it needs to have structures designed in successions for sustainability and stability.

The reality today is that the effects of "ungoverned" globalization and its discontents are widespread. This is also responsible for the clash of civilizations and the conflicts of interests in different parts of the world.

The burden of poverty, hunger, diseases, financial crisis, climate change and social conflicts everywhere are being worsened by poor access to clean, affordable energy and housing. Unfortunately, there is also a growing disconnect between political leaders and the people in the implementation of global development agenda such as the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs).

I agree that there is a "red alert" especially in the light of potential global economic failure and cataclysmic nuclear war. We need to reinvent society and promote values, attitudes and beliefs worth living for and capable of restoring faith in our common good. What we need is a global system built on eco-sustainability.

Absolutely. When we ammalgamate the social statistics regarding human beings, we have 1in 220 in exile due to violence and persecution, we have 78% of our children suffering extreme social anxiety disorder, 1 in 10 suffering gender and role disphoria, and our species is hyper stressed, showing increased dysfuction, suffering incurable diseases - and considering this normal. Which it is not. ALERT. - Roshanna S. 75 months ago
gender and role disphoria = new normal? - Dr. David E. 64 months ago
It is certainly looking like our deepest response to the chaos is gender and role disphoria. Can't get much deeper as a form of organic adaptation to the existential terror we are experiencing and unable to consciously choose to end. - Roshanna S. 64 months ago

Poverty is not a sufficient explanation. Poverty historically has often led to passivity. Thus the motivation for modern terroristic activities must be motivated by an ideology. For example, the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand was an early example of terrorist activity and it was motivated not by poverty but by ideology. In the 21st-century ideologies are a necessary and sufficient explanation for terroristic actions. Are there any ideologies that come to mind in regards to recent incidents such as 911 or in Europe?

How often do we turn to our technological devices for ‘comfort’ when we feel isolated or alone? What are we avoiding that, if we allowed ourselves to feel more deeply, might turn out to be conducive to empowering personal excellence and integrity rather than signal an inability or deficit?
