Sue is a lifetime innovator and passionate strategic business development advisor dedicated to the senior living industry. Becoming a caregiver at the age of 8 for a young 29 year old disabled Naval officer Dad diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, she turned lemons into lemonade by proposing and building the first Alzheimer care communities in the U.S. in the 1980s. She also oversaw the building of the first four level of care life plan/continuing retirement community for military officers in San Antonio. Subsequent experience includes: adult day care, active adult, independent and assisting living, health plan, hospice, memory care, physician, respite and other health and social services. Sue was honored to provide testimony on elder abuse to the U.S. House of Representatives, Select Committee on Aging resulting in strengthened legislation for our country's elders. She is active in private equity and helped found the ACG Texas Capital Connection. Sue has served on a public security company board and 15 nonprofit boards.
