Summary

As a former research director, inventor, artist, teacher and supervisor, I am driven to give my best, offering expertise in diverse areas of science (i.e., biochemistry, microbiology and nutrition), research and innovation, product formulation, writing and presenting, and interpersonal and supervisory skills. As an ambassador for my field, I offer health and vitality, and the right mixture of passion and grace to be of service to others. As a recent inductee in the Rome Science Hall of Fame, I'm beginning to feel that my creative efforts are making a difference. I feel like I can add to the creative arm of any effort.

I invented a new class of antimicrobial compounds called"bismuth thiols". They are now in Phase 2 clinical trials, and may be the first registered anti-biofilm agents.
