After a 35+ year career in credit risk and financial services, Joe Spivack is a private investor with a particular interest in angel investments. Areas of interest include medtech, digital health, robotics, AI, cybersecurity and other niche products.
Most recently, he was in charge of Stress Testing for community banks at CEIS Review, a leading bank-loan credit review company in based in New York.
Prior to CEIS Review, Mr. Spivack gained extensive senior level experience in credit risk management in banking, capital markets, counterparty credit, leveraged and structured finance and insurance. His prior associations were with CIT Group, CIFG Assurance, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, TruMarkets, Prudential Financial, Barclays Capital, Bear Stearns & Co., New York Life Insurance, and Value Line.
Joe is a CFA charter holder. He holds an M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business and an M.A. and a B.A. from Columbia University.
