Being both a young professional and a proud mother, efforts toward making our healthcare system a better and healthier place to receive care has become my true devotion.
I served on the board of the National Association for Latino Healthcare Executives in 2016 and have been a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2014. I am currently a candidate at the University of Alabama for a Doctor of Science in Administration-Health Services.
I am an expert on the 340B Drug Pricing Program and hospital pharmacy purchasing, providing valuable intelligence to healthcare providers across the country. I have contributed to an extensive list of presentations and publications including “Exploring Cost Savings with Generic Switches” and "PSG Compliance".
In my current role, I am the Vice President, Customer Success at Sentry Data Systems. My formal role was as a 340B subject matter expert for The Bizzell Group where I was charged with conducting 340B compliance audits for HRSA's Office of Pharmacy Affairs. I served as Principle of PatientCraft, where I was responsible for all business and operational aspects of the organzation. I also served as Director of Operations at Pharmaceutical Strategies Group, LLC., responsible for operational components of pharmacy and distributor relationships for 340B Services. My 20 years of experience also includes roles as a Pharmacy Inventory Manager for Harris Health System in Houston, Texas and 340B Peer-to-Peer Network Mentor for HRSA, Federal Grants and Contracts at American Pharmacists Association. I was also the Senior Regional Coordinator for AmerisourceBergen Corporation where I managed patient assistance programs for several large hospital networks. I earned a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science of Business/Management degrees from the University of Phoenix. I have also maintained my professional pharmacy designation since 1997.
