I am Dr. A. K. Shyam, intellectual acumen offering 44 years of established career in Environment, Health & Safety sector. Presently I am associated with Quality Council of India, MoEF as Thermal / Hydro Expert. Over these years, I have rendered services to corporate & educational institutes viz. GMR Group, Bangalore; Reliance Energy Limited, Noida; National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd. Department of Bioscience, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthinilayam, Andhra Pradesh; Botany Department, Central College, Bangalore University, etc.
My academic credentials include Ph.D.–Plant Taxonomy from Pune University; M.Sc.-Botany–Plant Morphology Specialisation from Bangalore University; B.Sc. (Hons.) Botany Major, Zoology & Chemistry Minor from Bangalore University.
My recent works include ENERGYPULSE: (http://www.energycentral.com/bio/621), Energy Efficiency options for Thermal Power Plants in India, Power Plants Options Towards Progressive Environmental Norms in India, Renewable Energy for Urban Households in India and Future Energy Options for India.
