Wendy advises at the board level 9 Spokes Int’l. [ASX: 9SP] where she is Chair of the Audit Committee. She is Co-Chair of non-profit Women Corporate Directors (WCD), Los Angeles/Orange County Chapter. Previously, she was an Independent Director for TiVo Inc. [NASDAQ: TIVO] where she served on the Audit and CEO Search Committees, and for Jack in the Box [NASDAQ: JACK] where she served on the Finance and Audit Committees and Chaired the Governance Committee.
Wendy’s background includes 20 years as a senior executive at The Walt Disney Company, then c-suite positions at global e-commerce leader Ticketmaster and investment firm Tennenbaum Capital. Her non-profit Independent Director roles have included PetSmart Charities Inc. and the Smith College Board of Trustees. Her early career was in investment banking.
In her professional career, Wendy has developed significant industry expertise in media & entertainment, e-commerce/Internet, consumer products, software (SaaS), FinTech, hospitality, food & beverage, retailing, engineering, business services, and other sectors. She has demonstrated leadership in developing award-winning investor relations, strategic communications, and brand-building programs, and has provided creative solutions in strategic planning, board governance, M&A, global expansion, digital initiatives and innovative growth.
Wendy attended Harvard and Oxford, and is an honors graduate of Smith College, with an MBA from Harvard. More recently, she attended the Stanford Directors’ College, and separately has been designated a Board Leadership Fellow, the highest level of credentialing for corporate directors offered by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
