My key strengths include brand development and sales growth, strong financial and analytical abilities and balance sheet and cash-flow optimization.
In my previous role I turned around a loss-making, declining, global business in three years, turning it into a cash generating business with 12% EBITDA margins and above market growth. I reduced overheads by 50% through restructuring and divestment and developed and implemented new brand and marketing strategies.
Prior to this I led the $82 million acquisition of a Veterinary Petfood business and integrated two new businesses within three months to create a business growing at over 20% with a 22% improvement in EBITDA. I relaunched a rationalized range with consistent branding within 12 months of the acquisition. I have been successful at building high performing teams in all of my roles and I strongly believe in developing and empowering great people.
Originating in Europe, I have broad international and cultural experience and am an effective communicator, who builds strong relationships up to board level, throughout the organization and with customer and distributor networks.
