Evans is a successful chartered accountant, entrepreneur and strategy expert with more than 16 years specialized experience across diverse industries such as Energy, Healthcare, Financial Services, Ecommerce, Logistics, and Consultancy, reporting directly to CEOs and Boards since 2018, he has handled a broad range of responsibilities in highly complex and regulated industries together with five years executive/board level experience at various companies in West Africa, Canada, United Kingdom and USA with responsibility for businesses with EBITDA in excess of $30m and has successfully implemented cost saving, and balance sheet reengineering strategies to stimulate growth. He currently leads the finance team of a top U.K based business as Chief Financial Officer. Evans is a qualified financial expert.
With a B.Sc. In Accounting, from the Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria, and an MBA. In Leadership and Sustainability In Business from the University of Cumbria, United Kingdom. He also obtained other certifications from the university of Cumbria which includes - certificate in financial management and organizational behaviour. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Evans without relenting pursued the furtherance of this career in finance by attending the London School of Economics’ certificate course in Managerial Accounting and Financial Control.
In 2019 he was appointed country ambassador to the Global Corporate Finance Society, he is tasked with promoting the growth of the finance profession in Nigeria. He has also serves on various advisory boards including Governor, LGB at Grange School, Manchester, United Kingdom.
