My career is essentially dedicated to fighting bad guys. I may not be Jason Bourne but with a computer and some data I can be unscrupulous in seeking out and preventing abuse/fraud. I currently work for Google as a Strategist within Search focusing on fighting web-spam, fraud, and abuse at scale.
I previously worked for Protiviti as a Senior Consultant focusing on credit risk, compliance, fraud, reputation, and other business risks. Using my unique background in banking and FinTech, I helped combine both traditional and nontraditional approaches to risk/compliance management for pre-IPO and post-IPO companies.
By leveraging my expertise in highly regulated financial environments, geopolitics, and unregulated/uncharted FinTech territories I helped companies catch-up to their industry competitors or get a leg-up by implementing cutting edge ERM strategies as they planned to expand into new markets and products.
By night, I play guitar in a successful funk band called "El Metate", writing music, managing booking, recording, and social media. I am also a dedicated skier and former ski competitor.
