My present role is in ecommerce order management and analysis at Dyson Canada. I aspire to work as an Operations Analyst in the future.
I am interested in the Supply Chain field because it is dynamic and solutions require creative thinking. Additionally, I am a customer focused person, and a true Supply Chain must always keep the customer as a primary focus.
I have earned a graduate level certificate in Supply Chain Management focusing in Purchasing/Supply Management, Distribution, Forecasting and International Logistics at Humber College.
I have recently completed a continuing education course in Big Data and Predictive Analytics from Ryerson University. This is an area of interest of mine and I believe that the importance of Big Data in Supply Chain Management will continue to grow.
Additionally, I hold an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Dalhousie University. My degree allowed me to develop a strong ability for analytic problem solving and statistical modelling. I completed courses in areas such as Time Series, Data Analysis, and Regression Analysis.
I have a diverse work experience including several years in customer service roles, as well as research analyst positions.
I have knowledge and training in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite with an advanced capability in Excel. I have 3 years of experience using the statistical software R, and training in SQL data mining. I am comfortable and proficient at learning new business software.
