There are many ways to do this, but everything depends on your end objective. With your question, I assume its a personalized sales or engagement (or very personalized engagement based on individual's characteristics). Few things that come to my mind -
1. Technical folks can help you to personalize or categorize your audience with strong data analysis. Here the source of data is a concern but for that, you will have to be more specific.
2. You can find a right audience through the combination of data mining, geolocation, social media (A mashup app). You can also use integration with social media as a powerful source of data. I am smelling a smart mobile app or website here.
3. You can use them for better use of analytics for your campaigns and target audience.
4. Depending on your budget and Goal, Artifical Intelligence and Virtual Reality kind of things might help you. I can be more particular on examples if you need.

Hitesh, Thank you so much for your time and your detail. It is a direct to consumer ecommerce fashion brand. Yes, VERY personalized engagement based on individual's characteristics and more for data mining and #4 is VERY intriguing to me. There are a lot of components to this that interest me, fitting avatars: you submit your measurements (height, chest, waist and hip) and your personalized avatar is created to try clothes on in your virtual dressing room etc.
On a simpler level…Have you heard of Stitchfix? Rockets of Awesome? Both use algorithms to gather data and they are extremely successful because of it. Both of these companies came out of tech not fashion. I would like to take my skills and expertise in fashion, designing a brand, an experience and combine this with algorithms. As a fashion designer to get data in real-time is a dream and then to design to those wants and needs in real-time…a dream come true.
