More personal touch and acknowledging the connections, commonalities, and similar interests will have a heavier impact on digital marketing and business. We find it hard to trust the right people to do business with and many people are not open to doing business with random act of digital marketing. Take this prime example, there is a reason we have spam mail, filters in our email accounts, and privacy on our social media accounts. There are all the reasons why we sometimes get so vexed with marketing emails because they dont have a true person behind it. It is just a tool. Hence, making that personal connection along with the acts of digital marketing will add more value to business growth.

It really depends what sort of business you are in. If it is B2B then I would say industrial magazines, Exhibitions and Experience and reputed business development personnel which should be known in markets.

Difficult question to reply too, as someone already mentioned it depends about your business (e.g. IT, services, products, etc.), which is your goal, which markets you want to reach out, in which country or regions, what is your starting point, etc. With more detailed information it would then be possible to set up an action plan and choose the right marketing techniques and digital channels
