The work, it may be normal or remote, work-from-home, or in-person, the best way first to make a good impression with your colleagues to impress people by doing a good job. Communication, time-management, independence and prioritization will impress people in the remote work. It is required to read all emails and chat messages before sending and see if ways can organize information more clearly like lists, points, or action items. Check in with manager and people work closely and keep them aware of what working and finished. Better if projects that need to be done or ways something can improve, offer to tackle them. So that co-workers will be impressed by dedication and activity.
I think a focus on creating challenging, meaningful, and achievable goals is a strong foundation for organizations to plan for remote work. It’s an important aspect to a healthy organization regardless but working remote creates a different set of challenges. The ability for employees to seek help or engage other resources can be more difficult when not occupying the same physical location. Employees also work differently, and have different needs to keep on task, stay motivated, or keep from burning themselves out. This is where an organizational focus on facilitating effective goal setting and goal management can be well positioned if an unforeseen event changes the workplace paradigm.
