  • do you look at the first results page, top3, top10, more
  • do you use search engines mainly for business or personal searches?

Google is the most popular search engine for good reason, which is a popular search engine that supplies the best search results, quickly. In a business operating digital age, it is important for to understand how Search Engines Google collect and distribute information that it finds across web.

Google

  • do you look at the first results page, top3, top10, more

Depends on what I'm searching for. I usually start with the top 3, but if I don't get what I want out of that, I'll keep going.

  • do you use search engines mainly for business or personal searches?

Both

  • do you use advanced searches settings?

Occasionally. For instance if I only want to look at recent results and filter out older entries

  • do you change your location and/or the language to get different results?

Occasionally language. Sometimes if I limit to English, I won't get good results for what I need.

  • do you use your laptop or a mobile? do you think you get different results based on this?

Whatever I have at hand. I don't think that the results make a significant difference based on the device.

OK, Good information provided. , However, some personal results are available in certain languages and countries. - Jatindranath 40 months ago
Robert, I appreciate your answers. Mobile and laptop could generate few different results. I start with google and I use different search engines based on the area I want to search. E.g. yam d’ex for Russia and central Eastern Europe, Baidu in China, Bing in the US - Paolo 40 months ago
