Home Gardening / Household Indoor Gardening / Vertical Gardening / Hydroponics

I've been experimenting with indoor gardening with LED grow lights for myriad herbs & some smaller vegetables. I have purchased seeds for vegetable plants that grow in "bushes" rather than tall or long vine configurations.

I have been reading & researching non-commercial & commercial, indoor, vertical gardening, hydroponic indoor gardening, etc.

Could this be a way to help the climate change challenge? More plants consuming more CO2, plus healthier, organic, homegrown edibles? Fresher veggies produced closer requiring less transportation, refrigeration, storage? Kind of like JIT for veggies?
