plastic in toys

Now a days that we are more concern about plastic waste, I wonder why toy companies are busy selling toys based only in opening mistery bags and unnecessary envelopes taking advantage of the natural curiosity of childrens. We are trying to reduce our disposable plastics tools while toy companies increase the future and present bad behabior of not being concern about the environment. Why the Environment Committee at thEuropean Parliament do not prohibit the use of unnecessry plastic envelops or mistery bags that increase plastic consumption or paper waste when buying mistery cards envelopes. I am talking for example of LOL surprise toys from Giochi Preziozi or Panini cards. Even worst the actual practice of youtuber that record videos for kids only based on opening that type of toys. Do you think something should be done?

It's too easy to say that there are bigger priorities. Every positive action has some impact. Mystery bags could be made from paper. It's a small step but it would serve educational benefits as well.

Hi Maria, my reaction here is that there are much bigger plastic waste issues to be tackled and this would not rise to my level of needing intervention. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear...JMK
