Yoga, Gym, Walking or exercise which is better need for good health
I agree with Oren regarding a balance of all activities. Exercise should be for mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellness.
Your body's circadian rhythm determines when to exercise. Each person is different and I don’t believe one can alter this rhythm. Your circadian rhythm influences body functions such as blood pressure, body temperature, hormone levels and heart rate. All of these play a role in your body's readiness for exercise. For me, my optimal time is early evening regardless of the activity.
I believe a healthy body needs a little of everything. Strength training is excellent for bone density and tone. Yoga is excellent for balance and flexibility as well as mental health. Hitting the gym for a cardio bout is great for the heart and respiration. A walk through nature is good for the mind and the body as a lower impact fat burning exercise to drop blood pressure.
Balancing each of these activities will provide the best health outcomes.
Good question. To me there is no better activity. As mentioned by the other panelist, it is important to balance all the activities and practise these regularly all year long not just after Christmas break or before the summer holidays. Practive regularly in a balanced way is both the best solution and the most challenging one.
