How to take the advantage of social media to build you marketing strategy?

  • start checking your online visibility
  • define your clients
  • go live and tell a story
  • use the right channels. E.g. Linkedin to engage with your network, FB and Instragram if in the US or Western Europe, VK in Russia, WeChat in China, etc.
  • set a customized experience for your client
  • combine chatbox with AI
  • use metrics to measure success and analyze data

Youtube

Customer Support
AI with Chatbot ( Though I think its more of a customer support tool thena social media strategy)

Good call out if you are in the US and EUROPE. If not you need to adapt your channels to the different environment - Paolo 63 months ago
True. Paolo Beffagnotti And it depends on audience too. In certain cases I have seen enterprises using LinkedIn as a sales platform for selling their skills in form of white papers etc. B2B is driven like that only. - Hitesh 63 months ago

Agreed, it is quite annoying if a new LinkedIn-contact tries to sell you something. At this moment I "unfriend" them, or however this is called on LI. ;) - Patrick 63 months ago

True, its not about platform but the way you use them. Pkatforms come and go as per users and generations but with a right strategy one can get lot of traction. - Maya 63 months ago
You can be great - but if platform goes awry - U R out of luck- - Dr. David E. 63 months ago
Good discussion! I agree, to use social media, a company does not have to be big, but at least have a minimum visibility. Even if you are relative small, on a global level you should have enough clients or other stakeholders, which might be enough to have active discussions. - Patrick 63 months ago
Relevant is the content,, not the actual used platforms. To ensure this, companies not only should use the existing platforms, but create an own website, which works as base. - Patrick 63 months ago
This base connects with the chosen channels, as for example, FB, LI, Instagram, Twitter, etc. - Patrick 63 months ago
Preferred social media channels may change and even go away, but mostly not over night, so there is time to move the content from one channel to the other.. Especially if you have it also stored on your own server. - Patrick 63 months ago

Using the right channel is an important thing. I also think the streaming platforms and video platforms are very powerful. They can help you to reduce the pain of live demo.

I'll go for combine chat box with AI. Customer service is vital in post sales service to secure brand loyalty. Chat box provide an alternative/another channel for customer to contact the customer service to solve their problem besides using phone calls. Chat box also provide an easier way to contact the customer service in which customer do not need to queue up waiting on the phone line but just type in their problems into the chat box and wait for a reply. This will sure to reduce the amount of frustration that the customer have compared to waiting on a phone line just to be serve which some time could take hours!

In addition to the wisdom already posted, there are a few other social strategies that will bolster your marketing strategy.
1 - Use social media to extend the reach of your content marketing efforts by creating infographics, 20-30 second videos that draw attention to your longer form content on your website;
2 - Identify the top social influencers in your target audience group; they are not that hard to find(!) and work toward cultivating a social relationship. If the top influencers retweet or share your posts, you are onto something!;
3 - Make it easy for the staff in your company to share company info via social;
4 - Don't be afraid to get clever on social - you can get away with much more humorous expressions of your top marketing selling points on social...remember "Ship my pants"?!

A complete list, but on the other hand it is difficult to generalize. An efficient social media strategy requires first old fashioned market intelligence to understand who are the potential clients and what media they use. This may be even untypical for the region / age / education etc.

Said that some companies bed on education and science and open their own communities, which then get promoted via different channels. Some examples are OpenMind by BBVA Bancomer or Mission Winnow by Philip Morris.

As you said, this can include an AI chatbot with intelligent nudging or any other smart idea.

Yes the company should change strategy and that should reach at customer and social medial can give actual feed back for improvement of company. - Er. Jangyadutta 63 months ago
Feedback can be faked - Dr. David E. 63 months ago
Yes you are correct. In cases fake feed back is possible. But customer should take care for justification of advertisement of product. - Er. Jangyadutta 63 months ago
Feedback can be faked but don't be stressed with this, a lot of these are reliable and is not difficult to check - Paolo 63 months ago

So far not mentioned, video games can also be a relevant channel to meet your potential clients. For example car manufacturers created special show cars which only exist virtually and are usable for Grand Prix 6. Such cars had been done be manufacturer's development departments, so that such a virtual launch also gets covered by classic print-media. Similar is also possible for other kind of games, especially as most of them are connected to the Cloud.

Social Media Medical Marketing a Few Years Ago?

“We’re considering integrating social media into our medical practice marketing plan,” Dr. Joseph Frank Stankowsy started out saying.

Then he backtracked—“Yet, all we hear about it is what we can’t do from a HIPAA and security compliance perspective.”

And so, do you incorporate social media into your medical practice marketing plan?

Any thoughts?

the (not) new strategy for 2019. Set goals and understand your audience. Set KPIs and benchmark the competitors, Create valuable contents and engage with the consumers. Look for new area of improvement. This is what I found online, so nothing really new to me. Do you have better inputs on this?
