While I agree with focus on meeting consumer needs/solving customer problems, be willing to disrupt/reinvent themselves and  fhave a creative culture, I would like to call out 2 answers that received few/no rate so far. The first one is operate globally, this is the market now thanks to internet too, so take the advantage of it. The second one is think big, do not put limits to yourself. The market could already set these. Why do you think these 2 are not relevant? FYI I am working for a brand leading the market in its area. I agree with the Philip Morris case highlighted by Patrick, I discussed a bit with a Philip Morris team about this and it was really interesting.
