When I'm in London I will still hail a black taxi rather than uber. However, black taxis not can be booked on-line and accept card payments. That wouldn't have happened without uber.

I've just had to dispose of my first set of rechargeable batteries. They were several years old but only lasted few days instead of the months they did when new (I have the same problem!). What happens to electronic vehicles when their battery run out after a maximum of 10 years?

The pragmatic 'early majority' wait to see if the disruptive technology 'has legs'. Tesla might be deemed to be more valuable than Ford but I wouldn't know when I'd get a car from them. I could probably get a new Ford tomorrow.

I think crossing the chasm is still meaningful today.
