Start with the executive team. They need to demonstrate collaboration and support for crushing the silos. Without their engagement, your efforts will be a non-starter.

I agree Jeanette. Clearly building trust to improve communications must start at the top. I also find that hard work on building teamwork and developing relationships among the senior team is a must. The old adage that you don't have to like the people you work with but respect them really does't do much for building a team, creating trust and improving communication. - Michael 67 months ago
I fear we under-appreciate the value of trust between senior leaders. Everything at times appears to be a competition amongst equals. If we revert to collaboration instead of internal competition, we are likely to be much more successful. - Jeanette K. 67 months ago
You are right on Jeanette. And when there is one member that just can't seem to get on board with collaboration then the team is better off without that member. The team will be more productive if everyone is on board. - Michael 67 months ago

Setting Expectations for using the Currnt platform is a must. The sponsor or clients need to have a clear view of the questions they want answered, and whether they desire cursory or in-depth summations of the collected comments, I believe there needs to be a summarizer tool and a report writer that is able to extract in sequence all of the contributions and comments in order to preserve the flow of the conversations.
