How will wearables change our behavior?

Wearable tech will become pervasive. We will use it to collect data about each other and providing information to us as we engage in the day. Some suggest that the adoption of wearables will be on par with tablet adoption rates. Questions could be answered on the spot. Don’t worry about forgetting names because your glasses will have facial recognition capability? How else will it change the way we live and work?

One way is about accountability. By having your wearable "watching you" and helping out, like taking your medications on time, perhaps this will help people to be more adherent to therapy. This could be extended to reminders about appointments, diets etc. Imagine being able to scan a menu or your food to see if it fits into your current regimen..very helpful especially if traveling. There are a lot of opportunities for wearables to have a positive impact on your health and ensure that you stay healthy.
