Remote working was on the rise even before Covid-19 struck. Given the digital revolution, rising rents and increased demands for flexible working, telecommuting was becoming more mainstream.
Remote working tools are increasingly being deployed. Conferencing tools such as Zoom, Skype, Webex, coupled with new collaboration tools like Slack have made it easy for employees to work remotely.
