35+ years experience in Service Operations... at your disposal!
I have managed teams in medium and large organizations.

The last 15 years I worked for the Orange-Group: 3 years as an Operations-expert in the AMEA-region leading improvements on multi-million€ projects, 2 years as head of an International Service Improvement Team where I developed a Corporate taskforce team to support the Orange affiliates, 4 years as Head of the European International Operations Centre of Orange (IOCO) and 5 years as National Supervision Centre-manager of Mobistar (Belgian affiliate of Orange).

As a devoted People manager I have always shared my experience with my teams in coaching them wherever there was a need (technical incident-, change-, problem-, crisis-management but also their career track). I have taught them to be proactive instead of only reactive thus becoming "anticipators"​ in detecting problems before they impact the business or themselves.
I also piloted several improvement projects and developed appropriate KPI’s to measure the outcome and drive actions, accompanying them as an empathic people manager.

The people I've worked with think of me as a dynamic, positively driven, committed, motivated and motivating person with a natural leadership and proven people skills - testimonies can be read below on LinedIn.
There is always an empty seat in my meetings that represent "the Customer"​ reminding us all about the essence of our doings (e.g. is it acceptable for our customer?) however, without forgetting the companies'​ business objectives.

I take my pleasure to motivate people, to turn their problems into opportunities and search for win-win solutions.

Up till now I consider myself a very fortunate guy; I've always had good returns on my time investments with the hundreds of people I managed throughout my career and I hope to be able to do that for many years to come!
