Dr. Samuel N. Grief, MD, FCFP, FAAFP is a Family Physician since 1991. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community health centers, private practice and academia. He is a former full professor in clinical family medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Currently works for CVS Health as medical director on the clinical strategy team. His field of expertise is obesity, diabetes and nutrition.
Grief is a former radio show host of “The New England Health Hour” and “UIC Health Chat”. He has been an invited guest speaker for many radio, television, and multimedia interviews and presentations.
Grief is an accomplished writer and is the co-author of “The End of Obesity”, published in 1998. He is the former editor of the award-winning nutrition newsletter “Nutri-Talk”. He has been a freelance author for several health and medical publications.
