Megha Abraham is a Marketing Communications and Media professional with over a decade of international experience.
Result oriented, dedicated and a proven out-of-the-box thinker, her experience in corporate communications, PR and marketing includes developing and implementing national and international brand campaigns, product launches, strategic media relations, senior thought-leadership and advocacy programmes, internal communications, marketing collateral, special events, digital and social media.
As an Account Manager in advertising and brand management in Dubai, Megha designed and rolled out successful 360 degree marketing communications campaigns – working closely with senior sales teams and product developers to ensure measureable results and far reaching brand equity.
Megha also worked with Apple Inc. and British Council in India where she worked on the national launch of the iPod and serviced five operating business units’ communications requirements respectively. At Weber Shandwick MENA, Megha serviced the national PR accounts of global brands such as Sony, BMW, MINI, Boeing, British Telecom (BT) and ExxonMobil.
Throughout her career, she has continued to pursue her keen interest in writing. As Features Writer with Gulf News, Megha leveraged her strengths in analysis, research and insight to write in-depth features and special reports on multi-disciplinary topics ranging from business, art, culture, environment, and education.
Megha is also a freelance writer and content specialist. She has managed projects for corporate clients and independent publications like Emirates 24x7 (business daily), Arabian Woman magazine, and Word Quotient, an independent content development portal.
Megha holds a Master degree in Marketing from MIC, Manipal - India. She also has a Bachelor degree in Communications. When she’s not at work, Megha enjoys reading, art house films, and travel.
