I am basically an synthetic organic chemist with lots of experience in organometallic and physical chemistry, have worked on inorganic colloidal particles such as gold nanoparticles, gold nanorods, platinum nanoparticles and semiconductor PbSe quantum dots. I studied interaction of porphyrins with gold nanoparticles and PbSe quantum dots using various techniques. I am well experienced with all the techniques involved in modern organic chemistry laboratory including most of the spectroscopic and chromatographic tecnhniques, air and moisture sensitive chemistry (schlenk line and glove box). I have good experience of working in clean rooms, lithography techniques, and electron microscopy (SEM) technique.
