HEALTHCARE OPERATIONS TRANSFORMER – as the former Regional President and COO of HealthEast, I focused on operational excellence across the entire continuum. I was proud to lead in an organization dedicated to providing exceptional clinical outcomes, improving patient transitions, population health, and expanding primary care options for high-quality, low-cost care.
BOARD MEMBER – I have served in executive leadership roles in boards focused on strategy, governance, growth, expansion, sustainability, capital campaigns, investments, M&A, post acquisitions, partnerships, and succession planning. I served as President, Chair, Vice Chair and Executive Committee member American Hospital Assn Council, PAC, Cerenity, CLUES, Women's Health Leadership TRUST, and Community Health Charities.
PARTNERSHIP FOR INNOVATION – REDESIGNED CARE – Prior to joining HealthEast, I led the transformation of care delivery operations at HealthPartners system to focus on the patient’s needs which resulted in a more seamless approach to care. In addition, we created an Oncology Center of Excellence.
HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY ADVOCATE - Committed to public policy and industry advocacy, I have been active in legislative issues affecting health care on the federal and state level. I have provided testimony at the State Capitol and also attended CMS and Med Pac in Washington, DC on important regulatory issues.
ROOTS IN NURSING FOR DIVERSE POPULATIONS – I began my career as a bedside nurse in inner-city neighborhoods which impacted my life’s work. I continue to focus on redesigning and aligning care delivery services to respond quickly to changing and diverse communities.
