I am a producer, director, professor, and programmer who has worked in various capacities in film, television, theatre, higher education, and with arts organizations producing public programming. My programming focus is to highlight iconoclasts and seminal innovators and to foster entrepreneurial empowerment for entertainment industry professionals at all levels. As a filmmaker, I have produced award-winning short films and pilots as well as live content with A-list industry figures (Werner Herzog, Tim Robbins, Paula Wagner). Together with my producing partner, I have feature film projects in development through our production company, Good Twin Pictures. I taught filmmaking at The School of Cinematic Arts at DePaul University where I specialized in graduate directing and production classes for MFA Cinema students and Acting for the Camera classes for MFA Acting students from DePaul's Theatre School. Currently, I oversee the Professional Development curriculum for the MS in Leadership for Creative Enterprises program at Northwestern University. Through my work with IFP Chicago and various partner organizations I aim to play a key role in building a new infrastructure for development, mentorship, investment, and distribution opportunities for commercially viable independent media that challenges audiences and advances contemporary culture.
