BREAKTHROUGH BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT. Closed two major contracts with Canadian utility companies, valued at $165M, for purchase of new 3MW wind turbines, the first-of-kind installed anywhere in the world.
BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION AND TURNAROUND. Reshaped and improved a price-centered sales organization into a culture of strategic business partners focused on effectively communicating the company’s value proposition. In addition, revitalized a stagnant Switchgear business by focusing on customer relations and targeted marketing opportunities.
COMPLEX CONTRACT NEGOTIATION. Renegotiated terms and conditions of an existing contract, on the verge of falling through, resulting in a $265M business win. Delivered a 2.3% increase in customer profitability through modifications to the original deal.
RECURRING REVENUE STREAM. Developed and achieved a new multimillion-dollar recurring revenue stream by creating O&M contracts that extended services beyond the standard two-year warranty period. This yielded margins at more than double the industry standard.
STRATEGIC PLANNING AND EXECUTION. Created multiple product development opportunities, in addition to sparking five new acquisitions and three partnerships, by developing new roadmaps, identifying white spaces, and filling targeted gaps across all business areas.
