Currently I am a PGY-1 resident pathologist.
I am a firm believer of personal and business values and visions. At this stage of my career, I am more and more aware that the interoperability of data-based precision medicine is not just an academic research problem, but it also requires strong leadership to create paths across numerous stonewalls (e.g., institutions, science domains, regulations). Technology and infrastructure will not work if human purposely close the doors to each other. I am striving to lead this field to conquer barriers and make precision medicine possible.
• Led 5+ large-scale scientific projects with collaborators across multiple departments and institutes
• Firm clinical medicine and bioinformatics background
• Effectively testing and implementing new programs and new ideas
• Eight years of scientific expertise in bioinformatics and clinical informatics
• Published 10+ articles in diverse scientific journals
• Extensive professional connections with diverse industries
• Actively mentoring in multiple settings
• Serving as the Vice President of Education of a Toastmasters Club, initializing five new programs, and doubling the club size
• Actively volunteering in multiple local humanitarian organizations
