I am an enterprise and cloud architect leading a comprehensive effort to become a "cloud first" IT operation with a significant portion of our systems implemented as cloud based rather than on-premises while maintaining our current high levels of security, reliability, and performance.
I have a background as a senior .net developer and software architect. I have widely varied experience including design and development of web based and IVR based patient bill payment systems, clinical decision support applications such as Medication Reconciliation and Progress Note documentation, and developing a suite of applications to aid in our state wide population health management efforts. In addition I have a deep understanding of the healthcare business in specific and business concepts in general. This has enabled me to help ensure that IT strategy is aligned with our business needs at a fundamental level.
I have extensive experience with Epic Systems back end databases and have been the primary programming resource involved in the successful Pioneer and MSSP ACO for Franciscan Alliance.
